The first seven films in this program are appropriate for all ages.

I Want a Dog      
A young girl wants a dog more than anything else in the world and comes up with an ingenious idea to persuade her mom and dad to let her have one. Directed by Sheldon Cohen. Animated from Canada. 10:09 minutes 

A Work in Progress
A lonely girl sketches a bear in search of a friend and in turn makes friends of her own. Directed by Wes Ball. Live action and animation from the U.S.A. 8 minutes

Open a Door Series  
Offering a window on other cultures, this award-winning series of 5 minute films show a simple happening in the life of a small child, beginning the child’s day with a door opening and ending it with the door closing. South Africa directed by Wendy Hardie United Kingdom, directed by Arabella Warner, India directed by Surabhi Sharma and Sunil Shanbag. Live actioin. 15 minutes

The Dog Who Was A Cat Inside   
A dog and cat live together in the same body and learn that only by resolving their differences and working together can they find happiness. Directed by Siri Melchior. Animated from the U.K. 3:22 minutes   

Kosher      
A young boy wants more than anything to marry his sweetheart on the playground after school, but there is a problem. Directed by Aimee Barth. Live action from the U.S.A. 5 minutes

The Beezes      
The Beezes are determined to pick ripe cherries from the high trees and come up with inventive ways to reach their sweet and juicy quarry. Directed by Grega Mastnak. Animated from Slovenia. 5 minutes.

Painting Worlds
A visual and aural journey through children’s imaginations and world views. Directed by Naomi Ture. Animated from the U.S.A. 14 minutes

Claudia’s Shadow
A young Italian girl in Australia uses her talent for storytelling to transcend cultural barriers, with a little help from her shadow. Directed by Ruth Borgobello. Live Action from Australia. 16 minutes   Hello 
In a digital world, can an analog find true love? It’s all a matter in finding the right words. Directed by Jonathan Nix. Animation from Australia. 6:30 minutes

Bathtime in Clerkenwell  
This cleverly graphic animation spins the tale of a British revolution literally gone ”cuckoo!” Directed by Alex Budovsky. Animation  from the U.S.A. 3:20 minutes

Terra     
A curious alien girl discovers the truth about an object in the night sky. Directed by Aristomenis Tsirbas.  Animation  from the U.S.A. 6:45 minutes

Moo(n)    
The friendship of a young girl and a cow is interrupted by a bee and some sneezes with curious consequences. Directed by Leigh Hodgkinson. Animation from the U.K. 3 minutes    
 
Nuts and Bolts       
High up on the steel supporters of a construction site: an apprentice, his frog, the site foreman, and a lunch break that never was. Directed by Andreas Krein. Animation from Germany. 6 minutes
